Tuesday, March 17 (6:30 pm - 8:00 pm): The Northwest VEG Book Club will meet at Borders café downtown (708 SW 3rd Ave, between Yamhill and Morrison) to conclude our discussion of Marion Nestle's, Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health.  Nestle served as a senior nutrition policy advisor in the Department of Health and Human Services and has also been a member of the FDA Food Advisory Committee and Science Board, the USDA/Department of Health and Human Services 1995 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee, and American Cancer Society committees.  Learn more at http://www.foodpolitics.com/.
