CANCELED: PDX Potluck: Arts as Activism

Tweet Share on Facebook

August 20 (5:00 - 8:00 PM)

Please note we are unfortunately canceling this Sunday's potluck. With the traffic and mania anticipated Sunday evening around the eclipse, our guest speaker is leaving earlier than originally planned to make his flight and we know many people will also be en route to viewing. We sincerely apologize for this last-minute cancellation and look forward to seeing you at the next potluck. If you are traveling to view the eclipse, be safe and enjoy!

Michael Harren is a Brooklyn-based composer and performer who is currently touring the United States with his original solo show, The Animal Show. The show was written during his year-long residency at Tamerlaine Farm Animal Sanctuary where he discovered that theater and music could be deeply transformative in ways that his other forms of animal advocacy were not. Michael is a passionate music educator and serves as Director of Communications for Our Hen House.
