June 4 (6:30 - 8:00 PM)

Expand your repertoire of plant-based protein foods! “Food in Depth” is a series of cooking demonstrations utilizing grains and legumes that are not yet in wide use. Each class includes three completely different dishes of the food being highlighted, and there will be samples of each dish for participants, as well as the recipes. Registration is separate for each class, but participants are encouraged to sign up for the entire series. On June 4th, the focus is on buckwheat (also known as "kasha"), a gluten-free grain unrelated to wheat. Taste its versatility -- sign up now!

Pre-registration required - open through May 31st!

Location: Tabernacle Seventh-day Adventist Church - 26 SW Condor Way, Portland, OR 97239
