Striking at the Roots: A Practical Guide to Animal Activism By Mark Hawthorne (January 2008) We haven't read this and thus can’t recommended it, but consider checking it out for useful tidbits when it's released in 2008. Don't Think of an Elephant: Know Your Values & Frame the Debate By George Lakoff (2004) A primer on the power of language and framing the debate in American politics.
