| Goodwill and Gratitudes from NW VEG... and our Business Supporters |
| November 28, 2012 |
There was a recent article on attaining happiness, which advised to daily, and deeply, reflect on
what we're grateful for. NW VEG is grateful for all of you, and the compassionate and supportive
community we're building together. This was reflected many times and at dozens of events
throughout the year, including: at VegFest, where there were 'no strangers' among the 6000
attending; at our 4th of July Vegan Picnic, which seemed intimate despite close to 100 sharing
food and games; and at the Compassionate Vegan Thanksgiving, where 332(!) broke the
ice playing Mingo Bingo. Plus we met in friendly, smaller groups at dozens of other Potlucks,
Dineouts, Happy Hours, Meetup gatherings and more!
We give thanks to all our volunteers and members—NW VEG wouldn't be making a difference
without you. And neither would our growing veg business community, with restaurants, hard
goods, and services that enable us all to support others who share our compassionate view.
Some of our Business Members send Seasonal Greetings below; some with special offers! If
gifts, or treats for yourself, are in your plans, please consider patronizing our NW VEG business
community. For a complete listing, visit: nwveg.org/businesses
