Each day, a person who eats a vegan diet saves 1,100 gallons of water, 45 pounds of grain, 30 sq ft of forested land, 20 lbs CO2 equivalent, and one animal's life [Source]. For every five people who go vegan, in just one year there is decreased demand for an estimated 2,007,500 gallons of water, 82,125 pounds of grain, 54,750 sq ft of forested land, 36,500 lbs CO2 equivalent, and 1,825 animals' lives. Northwest VEG connected with over 12,000 people in 2017, sharing education and resources to support a vegan future. Your support makes our work possible. Thank you. All contributions received before midnight Dec. 31 will be matched up to $4000 thanks to the generosity of several community members. Donations are 100% tax-deductible. DONATE TODAY AND DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT. All donations of any amount received from now through December 31st will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a free photo shoot with your favorite furry or feathered companion, courtesy of local artist and photographer Leisa Refalo. The photo shoot will include digital files of all images taken and a 16x20 print of your favorite.
