Vancouver Potluck: Enchanted Farm Sanctuary

Tweet Share on Facebook

December 7 (6:30 - 8:30 PM)

Robin Birdsong is the Founder & President of Enchanted Farm Sanctuary. She's also a passionate animal activist, vegan lifestyle advocate, herbalist and organic veggie farmer. Her farm is currently home to nearly 150 animals she has rescued from slaughter, neglect & abuse. EFS was founded in honor of her son Danny, after his tragic death in 2007. Her mission is to share her transformation from tragedy to triumph and to open hearts to the plight of our animal kin. In her speeches, Robin tells the story of how a bereaved mother cow saved her life and why she is so determined to return the favor by saving as many animal lives as possible. She also explains how compassion & love can heal even the deepest grief and depression. Her talks have been described as a rollercoaster of emotion full of both wit and grit where you'll often find yourself laughing through the tears.

6:30pm at Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver, 4505 East 18th St., Vancouver, WA 98661.
