Food in Depth

Expand your repertoire of plant-based protein foods! “Food in Depth” is a series of cooking demonstrations utilizing grains and legumes that are not yet in wide use. Each class includes three completely different dishes of the food being highlighted, and there will be samples of each dish for participants, as well as the recipes. Registration is separate for each class, but participants are encouraged to sign up for the entire series.

June 10 Cooking Demo: Amaranth - Carol Acker

August 26 Cooking Demo: Black Eyed Peas - Linda Tyler

September 23 Cooking Demo: Split Peas (other than for soup) - Carol Acker

Time: Sunday evenings, 6:30-8:00pm

Fee: $10
