  • West Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship 8470 Southwest Oleson Road Portland, OR, 97223 United States (map)

Clean Meat, also known as cultured meat or lab grown meat is part of a somewhat new technology known as cellular agriculture. This technology has the potential to revolutionize animal agriculture, and save billions of animals from being raised and slaughtered for meat but how should we as animal activists and vegans approach this technology? This talk with animal law expert Becky Jenkins, LLB, LLM will introduce folks to clean meat and discuss some of the key benefits and shortcomings of this new technology.

Potluck begins at 5pm; Talk begins at 6:30pm.

Bring a vegan dish to share, a list of ingredients, your own plate/cutlery, and your awesome self. See you there!
