Thank You for Making

Tofurky Trot 2025

the Biggest Trot Ever!

This year’s Thanksgiving Tofurky Trot was a fantastic outpouring of community spirit, bringing together fun costumes, happy dogs, and plenty of fresh air.

The rain cleared just in time, and over 1,400 Trotters—our biggest turnout ever—came together to celebrate a joyful Thanksgiving morning. Participants filled the course with energy and compassion as we trotted in support of farm sanctuaries and plant-based, humane holiday traditions.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this the most memorable Tofurky Trot yet!

  • Newly Remodeled Venue: The accessible Oaks Park Dance Pavilion will serve as the starting point, with plenty of space for gathering before and after the event.

  • Scenic and Accessible Course: Enjoy a fully paved 5K route that crosses the beautiful Sellwood Bridge, with just one street crossing. It’s the same beloved course as 2024!

  • All Are Welcome: Kids, seniors, strollers, and leashed dogs are encouraged to join the fun. It’s not about speed—it’s about celebrating compassion together.

  • Meet the Cause: Representatives from local farm animal sanctuaries—the event’s beneficiaries—will be present to connect with participants and share their mission.

Why Trot?

The Tofurky Trot is more than just a fun run—it's a meaningful way to kick off the holiday with heart. Your registration fee helps support Northwest VEG outreach and local farm animal sanctuaries, providing food, shelter, and care for rescued animals.

Organized by Northwest VEG, this annual event promotes the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle while building a warm and welcoming community of compassionate individuals.
