Kick off Thanksgiving morning celebrating compassion, fresh air, friends, and gratitude with the annual Portland Tofurky Trot. This event welcomes the whole family, including strollers and friendly pups, to Trot a 5K (3.1 miles) at your own pace to benefit Oregon farm sanctuaries.
Trot kicks off at 9 am from the Oaks Park Roller Rink. The Roller Rink is stroller and wheelchair-accessible. Please email info@nwveg.org with any questions.
This year, the Tofurky Trot features a fully paved course, guiding participants across the Sellwood Bridge with just a single street crossing! The 2024 course is similar to the 2023 course, with an additional short loop on SE Oaks Park Way.
Many thanks to Tofurky Company as our title sponsor, and for their donation that will help out animal sanctuaries. Registration for the 2024 Tofurky Trot is now open.
FARM SANCTUARIES TO BENEFIT FROM THE TOFURKY TROT
In 2023, the Tofurky Trot raised more than $11,600 to benefit local farm sanctuaries. We hope to raise as much to benefit farm sanctuaries in 2024. Sanctuaries that will benefit in 2024 include:
