We are very fortunate to have both Brian Posewitz and Cassandra Scheffman of Humane Voters Oregon come just two days before the Oregon 2025 legislative session begins to present on what what Humane Voters Oregon is all about, how well the candidates they endorsed did in the last election, and what issues they expect to be working on in 2025.

Humane Voters Oregon is a non-partisan organization that promotes humane treatment of animals through participation in Oregon’s political process. They endorse, support and contribute to candidates who support humane treatment of animals, lobby for humane legislation, and publish voting records so voters can hold their elected officials accountable.

For the potluck, please bring a plant-based (no animal products, including honey) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family.
