A Celebration!

Come share delicious food and make new friends and greet old friends. Then, at 6:15, Northwest VEG will hold our annual meeting, introduce our newly-elected Board members, and then hold a celebration of Northwest VEG - where we came from and where we are going. In particular, we will celebrate Linda and Rick SantAngelo, two of the original four founders of the Portland EarthSave chapter that eventually became Northwest VEG. Linda will be stepping down from the Northwest VEG board after serving for 23 years as a board member and treasure, plus more than four years before that as a founder and treasurer of the EarthSave chapter, and Rick has also been a key volunteer. We will be inviting past board members to attend and will have a retrospective of the founding and early days of the organization, followed by an overview of what we are doing now and what the future holds. We hope you can attend the potluck at 5, the celebration at 6:15, or both.
