  • Discussion of options, and what sort of event the 2024 VegFest should be.

• Possible ways to participate

  • Speakers, Chef Demos: Recruit speakers; work out speaker agreement stating terms/conditions with each; follow through with all arrangements.

    • Discussion of what we are looking for in speakers: Local or National? Keynote? Classes?

  • Advertising, PR & Social Media: Develop advertising campaign, PR campaign, social media campaign, and otherwise coordinate distribution of event information including posters and postcards; cultivate relationships with media outlets

  • Sponsor/Exhibitor Recruitment & Coordination: Recruit and invite sponsors and exhibitors; maintain and manage all contract forms, submissions and other info for every exhibitor and sponsor; mail confirmations and facility info, etc.

  • Membership Committee: Brainstorm and implement membership drive; responsible for membership material preparations and overseeing packing of bags during setup, supervise the membership table during setup and at VegFest, gather larger donations for drawing prizes.

  • Children’s and Teen Area Activities: Plan and coordinate art and other activities for the kids area and the teen area and photo booth.
