Join our friendly group for a vegan potluck meal, and/or then join us for an evening of vegan and seasonal music and an original poem featuring our talented Northwest VEG members and friends.
The potluck begins at 5. Bring a vegan dish to share (homemade or store-bought welcome!), list of ingredients, and your own plate and utensils.
The talent show begins at 6:15. Join us in appreciating talent in our community. The program will include:

Alderin Ordell: original poem about a little pig on a farm on Christmas Eve
Philip Mandel: piano with seasonal and other music
Jason Sherbondy: piano – Chopin

More on some of our performers below the pictures:
Daniel Redwood is a vegan singer-songwriter who has performed at the Animal Rights National Conference, Compassionate Thanksgiving, folk festivals, houses of worship, animal rights and environmental events, and at many farm animal sanctuaries. He recently published “For the Animals” with recordings of five new animal rights/environmental songs that add to his previous album, “Songs for Animals, People and the Earth.” Daniel’s animal rights songs continue his “songs with a message” legacy, which includes past work with peace and Cesar Chavez’s United Farm Workers movements. You can listen to his music on www.danielredwoodsongs.com or on Apple Music and Spotify.
Philip Mandel is a professional pianist whose formal training is classical, but who has played in many different bands, including to 40 bands, show bands, wedding bands, and solo recitals. He is also an expert in communication and stress management, certified flight instructor, long distance cyclist, coach, and a recovering engineer. www.philipmandel.com
Susan Hanson is a Northwest VEG board member, and has enjoyed singing her song and others with the Raging Grannies.
