Amazing food. Community. Some new surprises this year.

This is the biggest vegan potluck of the year in Oregon. Join us at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Beaverton for a shared compassionate pre-holiday meal. This event is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Special thanks to Tofurky for again donating Tofurky roasts to augment this event.

For the potluck, please bring a plant-based (no meat, dairy, honey, or other animal products) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family.

Doors open at 3:30 and eating starts at 4:15. We encourage you to come early to find a place to sit and then you can play Mingle Bingo and win some fun prizes if you wish. You will get a bingo card filled with traits and activities instead of numbers. Then you chat with others and find someone who matches a description on your card and write their name in the box. If you get 5 different names in a row, you have BINGO!

To help pay for the venue and other expenses, registration for the Compassionate Thanksgiving is $10 for the general public, $5 for current Northwest VEG members, $1 for children under 6, and free for any very young child who does not require a separate seat. Nonmembers also have the option to purchase or renew your Northwest VEG membership and attend at the member pricing.

Note - we are using Zeffy, a payment platform that does not charge Northwest VEG any credit card fees. Zeffy will ask any ticket purchasers for a donation to cover Zeffy’s own expenses. It is your choice whether to donate any percentage of your ticket price to Zeffy, and you can choose any amount you want, including no donation.
