Join us for our bi-monthly potluck in the Orenco area and partake in all the tasty dishes brought by our participants. At 6:00 pm, following the potluck, we will have Isaac and Chrissy Farias, instructors of the LEAP program (Leaders for Ethics, Animals, and the Planet), talk about the program being held at Wildwood Farm Sanctuary and many other sanctuaries throughout the country. LEAP is a leadership development program designed to rival 4H and FFA with a focus on animal rights. Isaac will also give an update on the IP3—an initiative to criminalize killing animals in Oregon, now changed to IP28 with the goal of being on the 2026 ballot. Come to the potluck, the presentation, or both.
All our food is plant-based (no meat, cheese or other dairy, eggs, honey, or other animal products), and we ask that you fill out an ingredients list to put with the dish. It’s up to you to bring your plates and utensils.
If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6, and increase for each additional person in your party/family. The Orenco Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is hosting Northwest VEG with this event.
