Vancouver monthly potluck and Life During Wartime (encore in Vancouver)

  • Good Shepherd Lutheran church 16001 Northeast 34th Street Vancouver, WA, 98682 United States (map)

Please join us for our monthly potluck and a special encore presentation of Life During Wartime. Please bring a vegan dish for 6 or more to share and your own tableware. There is no kitchen available so please be prepared to wash your dishes at home.

Meet sisters Marta and Oksana, founders of the Lviv Vegan Kitchen in Western Ukraine. When war broke out, they decided to stay in a dangerous situation and create a group that feeds hundreds of free vegan meals daily to war refugees and Ukrainians on the front lines. Come hear their heroic story and see photos of their inspiring life during wartime.

Potluck begins at 5:30pm, 2-hour presentation begins at 6:00

$5-20 donation suggested, all proceeds go to support Lviv Vegan Kitchen.

Please RSVP on Meetup as space is limited.

Note: our potlucks are normally on the last Thursday of the month, we have moved this month’s potluck so we can locally host this talk.
