General Info

• Because many vegans will attend the Compassionate Living Festival (CLF), we ask that all food and products being exhibited or sold be vegan (no honey, milk, whey, eggs, gelatin, or other animal products).

• Available booth spaces are 4’ x 6’ (small), 6’ x 6’ (medium), and 8’ x 6’ (large). There are additional options for sponsors. Please see the exhibitor application form for details. 

• You may bring your own table and other supplies providing they fit within the space allocated to you. If you are assigned to the main ballroom, please note that felt coverings for table and chair legs and any signage or other floor-standing items are required to prevent scratching the floors. 

• Exhibit displays and signs must be on tables or freestanding. Nothing can be attached to walls.

• Norse Hall is a historical building. Care must be used in all spaces.

• Electric usage is limited. Norse Hall is over 100 years old and the electrical system is delicate. Plan to use as little power as possible, and indicate how much electricity you will need on the application form. To calculate how many amps of power your equipment needs, find how many watts the equipment draws, divide by 120, and that equals your needed amps.

• For all food sampling/selling exhibitors:

• Food preparation space is limited. All food must be prepared beforehand. Steamer tables, crockpots, or other small appliances to keep food warm are acceptable, but you may only assemble or serve food on site. Any cooking must be done prior to arrival. There is a small kitchen located in the lower level, but use is limited due to numbers.

• Please help reduce waste as much as possible to promote an environmentally responsible event. See tips under “sustainability” below.

• Food and samples exhibitors are recommended to bring at least 500 free food samples.

• Please bring your own table coverings. Those who are heating food at their table must use a flame-retardant table covering.

• All exhibitors, representatives, and volunteers may check-in at the "Exhibitor Check-in" desk between 9:30am-11:00am on Saturday. You will be assigned a staggered move-in time closer to the event start date.

• All vendors must be set up and ready to receive guests no later than 11:45am.  

• Please follow signs and volunteer directions for unloading, and move your vehicle as soon as possible to make room for other exhibitors. There will be a ramp at the main entrance. Carts and dollies are allowed for unloading, but must be stored in you vehicle afterwards.

• Parking is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Limited lot and street parking is available close to the event. Plentiful street parking is available within 4 blocks of the event.

• Space will be reserved upon receipt of payment.

• Refunds of 100% will be provided to sponsors and exhibitors who submit written cancellation on or before August 28, 2024. Refunds of 50% will be provided to sponsors and exhibitors who submit written cancellation after August 28, 2024, and before September 14, 2024. After September 14 there will be no refunds.

• Please help promote the CLF through your websites, newsletters, emails, calendars, Facebook, Instagram, X, and other social media platforms.
