Volunteer for the Compassionate Living Festival

Did you know that we need up to 50 volunteers to make the Compassionate Living Festival happen? See below to learn how you can lend a hand in the planning and implementation of the Compassionate Living Festival. We can't do it without you!

Spread the word

Want to have fun, engage meaningfully with others, and support a worthwhile cause? We need volunteers to hand out postcards and flyers prior to this event to help get the word out. You will be handing out event ads in places such as Pioneer Square, farmers' markets, local businesses, Alberta Street, Hawthorne District, Mississippi Street, Belmont, Vancouver, and Camas. If you're interested in volunteering or learning more, contact us at Volunteer@nwveg.org.

Volunteer at Compassionate Living Festival

In return for volunteering for a minimum of one shift, volunteers will receive:
• Free admission to the Compassionate Living Festival
• The opportunity to help people discover delicious new foods
• Help people explore healthier food choices
• Help people discover how what we eat influences the environment

Who can volunteer?

Anyone and everyone! We have many different roles to suit all kinds of people. We need people throughout the day on Saturday, September 28, as well as roles starting now and leading up to the event. Let us know your areas of expertise when you contact our volunteer team to learn more.

Volunteers under 18 will need to bring a signed parental consent form. All volunteers 15 and under must volunteer with and be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Email Volunteer@nwveg.org with questions, or to join our team!.
