Veganism and Fitness
There are plenty of examples of highly successful vegan athletes, demonstrating that a vegan diet is compatible with high performance in our chosen sports. For instance, ultramarathoner Scott Jurek, 9-time track and field Olympic gold medal winner Carl Lewis, Ironlady Ruth Heinrich, and football player David Carter all fuel or fueled their exceptional athletic performances with a plant-based diet.
